Channing

CHANNING SHIPPEN, Berklee
Channing Shippen is a Music Therapy Major in her last semester of her undergraduate studies at Berklee College of Music. During her studies at Berklee she has had experience with multiple demographics including, severely handicapped children ages 5-18, well elders, elders facing Alzheimer’s and dementia, psychiatric facilities, and will be working with children in Massachusetts General Hospital this summer. Outside of school Channing works with the Life is good® company as a supervisor, and volunteers with the Life is good® playmakers foundation in order to raise awareness for the use of play therapy with traumatized children.  Channing also works as an instructor on the weekend at Boston Children’s Theatre, teaching acting classes to children ages 4-10. Channing is currently the residing Vice President to Berklee College of Music for NER-AMTAS.
